Driving down the road recently, suddenly my 1KD Diesel engine on my Vigo just switched off. It feels pretty unsettling, gaari achanak band hojaye aur phir do attempts ke bad chal jaye...

Kisi aur ko aisa masla hua hai? Har baar, I try starting it back up, and usually it works by the second attempt, but yeh reliable bilkul nahi hai, especially jab Lahore ki busy roads pe hoon.

Noticed also there is no consistent pattern, kabhi traffic pe, kabhi speed pe, it is just random and giving me serious stress kyun kay agay se koi takra gaya toh.

The other day, it stalled while I was crossing Mall Road, which was quite nerve wracking. And it seems like the engine check light is not showing any error codes either, making it even harder to diagnose the problem.

Pichlay hafte highway pe bhi aisa hi huwa tha, so you can imagine how scary that was at higher speeds. I am trying to understand agar koi specific reason hai for this.

I really need to get this sorted kyun kay it is not just inconvenient, it is risky too. Was wondering ke koi fuel system problem ho sakta hai, ya phir something with the electricals?

Mujhe kisi ne suggest kiya tha ke fuel pump check karwao but us ke liye specific mechanic hona chahiye jo is model ka experience rakhta ho.

Is sensor ne overall timing aur engine performance pe bhi asar dalna hota hai. Kayi dafa, simple wiring issues bhi isko trigger karti hain.

wiring harness agar chafed ya loose ho, toh yeh signals ko interrupt kar sakti hai. ek dafa meri dost ne har cheez check ki magar wiring dihaan se nahi dekhi thi.

Jab inspect karwaya, toh masla wahin tha:) Lahore mein ek reliable mechanic jo sensor issues aur wiring problems ko samajhta ho, uski advice lena bahut zaruri hai.

@Minal Fatima Zabardast advice di apne! Main ab wiring aur connections check karwane ka soch raha hoon. Haal hi mein maine battery replace karwayi thi, toh mujhe laga sab theek hoga.

Lekin ab lag raha hai ke shayad koi loose connection masla bana raha ho. Apke khayal mein kya mujhe kisi specialized workshop lejana chahiye for a thorough check ya phir regular mechanic se consult karoon? Ye baat thori confusing lag rahi hai:) familar jagah pe zyada rahat hoti hai.
