In most Punjab boards, if you have two or three supplications in Part 1, the board normally lets you sit for those failed Part 1 papers together with your Part 2 group, so you clear everything at once. If you fail four or more Part 1 subjects, the board usually requires you to repeat the full Part 1 group and appear with the new Part 1 batch. The exact rule can differ from board to board, so do not rely on general advice for your case. Take your result card to your school's matric coordinator or visit your board's examination office and confirm the current rule for your group — they will tell you exactly which papers you can take with Part 2 and which you must retake. Once that is clear, collect the old syllabus notes and past papers for the subjects you are resitting and start revising them right away.
