Looking for a Web Development Company Specializing in Custom Clothing & Sportswear

@Eshaal Abbasi thanks for sharing your thoughts on WooCommerce plugins. I do wonder, if WooCommerce can handle complex customizations well in the hands of good developers, then what kind of signs should I look for to know if a company really knows how to make it work or if they will just stack too many plugins and cause problems?

Also, I am still undecided on the budget side. if I need both B2B and B2C with product customization, what price range is typical for something like this in Pakistan?

I want to avoid surprises later on. And lastly, is it better to go with a local company that knows Pakistani manufacturing and sportswear businesses, or should I consider companies from nearby regions with more tech expertise? would love to hear what worked for others here.

Looks like you really want a full custom setup with complex B2B/B2C and product customization, which is tough to get right with just WordPress or Shopify if scalability and SEO matter long term.

@Amna Yousaf thanks for pointing that out. I am leaning towards a local company mainly because I want someone who understands how apparel manufacturing works in Pakistan and can handle both B2B and B2C properly.

But I am also worried about the quality and if local developers can really deliver complex product customization without bugs or delays. do you know if most local companies here have experience building those advanced features like product configurators and B2B order management?

Or is that something only bigger agencies abroad usually manage well? Also, would it make sense to meet these companies in person here in Lahore, or is it fine to just check their portfolios online and manage everything remotely?

if you want to build something really tailored for both B2B and B2C with product customization, it is worth thinking about how much flexibility you need versus how fast you want to launch.

If you want something that can handle both B2B and B2C with custom product options, I have seen BwLogics do solid work on complicated apparel ecommerce sites. their communication was okay, not perfect but manageable, and they do focus on SEO and performance.

@Rabia Sultan Thanks, that makes sense. i guess I am worried about balancing the time it takes to get a good custom build versus just going with something quicker and maybe less flexible.

do you think it is better to start simple and then scale later, or should I try to get all the complex features from the beginning?

Also, how much extra time or budget does it usually take if I want full product customization plus B2B and B2C on one site? i am still gathering ideas on what is realistic here.

@Rabia Sultan That is a really important point about flexibility versus launch speed. One thing I noticed when working with some local developers is that trying to do everything upfront, like full product customization plus B2B pricing tiers, can delay launch way more than expected.

Sometimes a phased approach works better: start with core B2C and basic customization, then build out the B2B and advanced config features after you get initial user feedback.

This way you avoid paying for untested features too early. Also, some agencies like Netsol Technologies tend to push for Laravel or full custom builds for this kind of flexibility but the tradeoff is longer development and higher cost compared to platforms like Shopify or WordPress with plugins.

So if speed is crucial, you might want to compromise a little on flexibility at first and plan to upgrade later. What is your rough budget and timeline looking like? That helps to figure out what mix of tech and features really makes sense here.

@Haris N Thanks for that insight. I am kind of starting to feel like maybe going full custom with Laravel or something is best, especially since Shopify or WordPress might hold me back later on.

but I am still worried about the budget and timeline for a full custom build. Does anyone know roughly how much more time or money it takes compared to Shopify or WordPress?

Also, would a hybrid approach make sense where I start with a simpler platform and then move to custom if needed? one more thing, I want to check if companies based in Pakistan usually handle this well or do I need to look abroad for better quality on such complex customizations?

@Iqra Khan BwLogics definitely have experience with custom ecommerce but their communication problems can be bigger than just okay. I have worked on projects where their timelines slipped and they were slow to fix some complex product configuration bugs.

If solid project management and timely updates matter to you, do not assume all these dev houses deliver evenly. Netsol Technologies is another local option I have seen handle more complex B2B with Laravel.

Their communication and follow up was stricter and quality was more consistent, but their prices are higher. Before recommending anyone further, what budget range are you working with and where do you expect the company to be based?

Because picking a developer with experience in Pakistan's apparel B2B/B2C needs makes a difference for integrations and local payment gateways. Also, what platform are you leaning towards so far?

I ask because Shopify is quick but limits deep customization. laravel custom builds add time and cost but scale much better long term. WordPress with certain plugins is a middle ground but can get clunky for big B2B. Knowing this will help suggest who is actually right for your project instead of just good portfolios.
