We manufacture custom clothing and sportswear, and our current website is quite outdated and no longer reflects the quality of our products or our manufacturing capabilities. We’re now looking to have it completely redesigned and rebuilt from the ground up.

I’ve been researching web development companies, but I’m finding it difficult to identify agencies that genuinely specialize in this type of project. A lot of companies have fairly limited portfolios, provide very vague pricing, or seem to offer the same generic solution regardless of the business.

I also had a particularly bad experience recently. A friend recommended a company to me, and after seeing their work, I was extremely disappointed with the quality. So this time I’d rather get recommendations from people who have actually worked with these companies.

Ideally, we’re looking for a company that understands custom apparel and sportswear manufacturing and can build more than just a standard brochure website.

Some of the features we’re considering include:

A modern, professional website with strong UI/UX
B2C eCommerce for customers who want to purchase products online
B2B functionality for wholesalers, retailers, teams and businesses
Product customization/configuration
Options for customers to customize colors, fabrics, sizes, designs, logos, etc.

Fast, mobile-friendly and scalable architecture

Potential integrations with manufacturing, fulfillment or other third-party systems

We’re also open to recommendations regarding technology and overall architecture. We don't necessarily have a fixed requirement to use WordPress, Shopify, Laravel, or any other platform. We’d prefer to choose the technology based on what makes the most sense for the functionality and long-term scalability.

So I’d really appreciate some genuine recommendations and opinions.
