Khula does not nullify deferred dower right, rules LHC

The Lahore High Court (LHC) has ruled that a woman cannot be deprived of her right to deferred dower merely on the basis of demanding khula, reaffirming that deferred dower is a contractual obligation binding on the husband unless there are valid legal grounds to avoid it.

بہت سے مرد طلا ق نہیں دیتے تھے اور کوشش کرتے تھے کہ خلا ہو تاکہ خرچہ اور حق مہر نہ دینا پڑے پر اب ایسے مردوں کی عقل ٹھکانے آ جائے گی
 
یار عقل ٹھکانے ایسے نہیں آتی۔ قانون بن گیا اچھا ہوا۔ پرعقل آتی نیت سے ۔۔۔ جب نیت میں لالچ ہو تو انسان اندھا ہو جاتا۔ سارے حقوق بھہل جاتا۔ اللہ ہدایت دے۔۔ آمین
 
Bohat aham aur durust faisla Lahore High Court ka. Shohar par aik haq hai jo nikah ke contract ka hissa hai. Khula lene se yeh haq khatam nahi hota. Yeh faisla aurton ke maali huqooq ki hifazat ko mazid mazbooti deta hai Islamic aur Pakistani family law ke mutabiq.
