he Pakistan Cricket Board has decided not to grant NOCs to Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and Shaheen Afridi for the Global T20 event in Canada this month.
This decision comes after considering Pakistan’s packed cricket schedule from August 2024 to March 2025, including nine ICC World Test Championship matches and the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
Following consultations with the players and the national selection committee, it was concluded that their presence is crucial for upcoming commitments: nine Tests, 14 ODIs, and nine T20Is.
This move aligns with PCB’s workload management policy to prioritize player readiness for the season ahead.
PCB had also declined permission to Naseem Shah for The Hundred on the same grounds.
