PML-N Vice-president Maryam Nawaz on Thursday said that the army chief should be a person who had a "flawless reputation", free from any criticism or doubts.
Maryam made these remarks in a press conference outside the Islamabad High Court on Thursday while answering a question about Defence Minister Khawaja Asif's comments, wherein he had said that former Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) chief Lt Gen Faiz Hameed's name could be considered for the new army chief.

Did she lost her senses or what? Your family has the special honor of being criminals across the board, with actual conviction and jail time, and you have the audacity to make statements like this. How stupid do you think the public is?
 
And why don't you apply the same rule for your prime minister uncle and chief minister of Punjab cousin? In other words, she's trying to say that army chief should be our loyal puppet who would protect our interests.
 
Look who's talking' right now. She is the one who invented hate speech against the army and the ISI, and which is propagated enormously by her father and herself.
They've already tainted their reputation with corruption, but it was a fuel to draw from your family.
 
Homesick, ineligible, absconder, jailed, crazy, the one who has no seat in NA, who has back of flawed and flopped uncle will now decide who should and who should not be the chief?
the hell is just happening?

What about your reputation, your father, uncle and your whole family reputation ? I wish that everyone should have flawless reputation from low to big government post in Pakistan.
 
What why Pakistan and its ppls highlight the issue of COAS and his appointment, while in TV show defence minister Express his views that next selection of COAS will be on merit . The man will be COAS who fulfil criteria. Why an Ex-Spay master would be next COAS.?
There should be proper constitutional procedure according whixh Defence ministry can examine and Send Nominations to PM for further approval but no here the nation political actors and every one is stucked with these military animals Nominations and designation.
They are our protectors not our fathers or lords to be highlighted this much.
