Renowned spiritual scholar and researcher, Hafiz Imran Hameed Ashrafi, has made a prediction regarding Ramadan for the Muslim Ummah, suggesting that there may be 30 days of fasting this year.
In his prediction about the sighting of the moon for the upcoming month of Shawwal-ul-Mukaram, Ashrafi stated that it is anticipated to be visible on Wednesday, April 10. Consequently, Eid-ul-Fitr is expected to fall on Thursday, April 11, subject to God's will.
Meanwhile, the government of the United Arab Emirates has declared Eid al-Fitr holidays from 29 Ramadan to 3 Shawwal. Given the possibility of Ramadan lasting 30 days this year, the Eid holidays in the UAE might extend to 6 days if Shawwal starts on Saturday. However, if Ramadan concludes on the 29th day, the holidays would be for 4 days, which appears unlikely.
