Best Future Professions for Kids in Pakistan?

I have been thinking a lot about what career paths would be best for our kids when they enter the job market in the 2040s.

With the way things are changing so rapidly in Pakistan, it is hard to pinpoint what industries will thrive in the next couple of decades.

Right now, there seems to be a huge shift towards IT and freelancing, which makes me wonder if these will still be relevant by then.

A recent workshop I attended in Lahore made a big deal about skills in artificial intelligence and data science. This got me thinking that maybe these are fields our kids should focus on.

The workshop actually highlighted how AI could change industries like healthcare and engineering, making them interconnected with tech in ways we are just starting to see.

The reason I am asking is that I want to make sure we are preparing them for a future where they can succeed. A lot of people suggest healthcare and engineering are stable options, but I am also hearing about newer fields like cybersecurity and digital marketing becoming more significant.

Are any of you considering steering your children towards these tech centric paths? Or do you think traditional professions will still hold value in our evolving economy?

I would love to hear your thoughts or any insights you might have. A friend mentioned that we should not forget the potential of software development either, as it seems to be driving much of the innovation nowadays.

By the way, if you are interested in the kinds of jobs that might pay well in the future, I came across this site discussing high paying jobs for the 2040s. Let us make sure our kids are ready for whatever the future holds.
