To make the fortune and wealth it takes decades if not more from generation to generation, for example of the family Rockefeller in the USA. However, in post-Communist Russia tycoons are made in few years all of them made due to strong ties with the state leadership. Criminal privatization in the transition period is one way. In China, it is the same with obvious growth of military power which is costly. It is the result of monopolies protected by the ruling elites that in public is named with euphemism the liberal capitalism. The real situation is that tycoons in fact sell one way or another natural resource the blood of one country which soon or later will make them as it was the history of Asia and Eastern Europe to expand their borders in search for new resources. The answer is well-known where from the money come but no one wishes to enter into legal disputes.

The constant bullying and threats have been endless. If all that weren’t already bad enough, can we ever forget COVID-19? No! We must never forget that China lied to the WHO about the severity of COVID-19 and allowed their citizens to travel during Chinese New Year (late January)2020 a month after concerns about the virus began to emerge. We are asking for trouble by having any more to do with China. I remember a Chinese doctor was on YouTube stating the dangers of the virus, the Chinese government shut him up REALLY fast.

Go on and forget western propaganda. As you are taking your citizens out of poverty, others are bombing people into poverty.
The number of billionaires isn't a measure of success but of facilitated greed. No one becomes a billionaire without exploiting others. A better measure of success would be how well the poor and the vulnerable have it.
