I keep hearing these terms everywhere, especially in health articles, but I’m still confused about what actually qualifies a person as “overweight” or “obese.”
Is it based only on weight, or do things like height, age, and body type matter too? I’ve also heard people mention BMI — is that the main way doctors measure it?
If someone can explain the difference between the two, how they’re calculated, and what factors are considered, it would really help. I think many people here might also benefit from a clear and easy explanation.
Thanks in advance!
