Pakistan hockey team secured their first victory in the Paris Olympics Qualifiers by defeating China 2-0, keeping their aspirations alive for the upcoming mega-event.
The initial half of the match witnessed a defensive play from both Pakistan and China, with no goals scored. However, in the third quarter, the Green Shirts created promising opportunities.
In the 42nd minute, Pakistan took the lead as Abu Bakr scored from a penalty corner. The team further solidified their position nine minutes later when Abdul Rahman scored his first international goal on another penalty corner.
