Pakistan’s textile exports grew by 10.44%

Pakistan’s textile exports grew by 10.44% in the first four months of FY 2024-25, totaling $6.146 billion, according to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS).
Overall exports during the same period reached $10.889 billion, up 13.55% from last year. In October 2024, exports stood at $2.984 billion, marking a 5.22% increase from September and a 10.97% rise year-on-year. The textile sector showed strong growth, with October exports rising 13.11% to $1.625 billion.
However, cotton yarn exports fell by 45.59% in July-October. On a positive note, rice exports surged by 52.53%, totaling $1.084 billion.
