Pakistan’s emerging golfer Ahmad Baig delivered a remarkable performance at the Asian Development Tour (ADT) Championship in Cambodia, securing second place with an impressive 19-under-par finish over the four-day event.
Baig’s consistency shone through as he posted rounds of 2-under, 7-under, and two consecutive 5-under rounds on the final two days. His strong performance positioned him as the leader after three rounds, showcasing his talent and potential in the highly competitive field.
However, in a closely contested final day, Thailand’s Nopparat Panichphol managed to overtake Baig with a 7-under round, finishing just one stroke ahead to claim the title.
The tournament, which featured a total prize pool of $100,000, awarded Baig $11,500 for his second-place finish. His impressive showing has also elevated him to second place in the overall ADT rankings, marking a significant achievement in his growing golfing career.
