Rajeev Shukla, the BCCI vice-president, emphasized that the team would only tour Pakistan if the government grants permission. Speaking to press, Shukla highlighted the organization's adherence to governmental directives regarding team engagements.
Meanwhile, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is devising security arrangements for the Indian team ahead of the Champions Trophy scheduled for February next year. The PCB has proposed Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi as potential venues to the International Cricket Council (ICC) and will seek feedback from participating nations.
