Hajj applications from November 27 to December 12, 2023.

On Thursday, Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Aneeq Ahmed, announced the initiation of Hajj applications from November 27 to December 12, 2023.
During a press conference at the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, he assured a fair and transparent balloting process, ensuring equal opportunities for all applicants.
Minister Aneeq unveiled the Hajj Policy 2024, underscoring the historic measures taken to enhance the comfort of pilgrims. Complimentary essential items, such as a large travel bag with QR coding (30kg capacity), a hand-carry bag (7kg capacity), Pakistani flag scarves for women's identification, Ahram belts for male pilgrims, and designated bags for shoes, will be provided.
In a bid to improve connectivity, a mobile SIM with 7 GB data will be supplied for mandatory use during the stay in Saudi Arabia. Additionally, a dedicated mobile application, developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Information Technology, will offer online and offline training, tracking, and guidance. Minister Aneeq also mentioned the incorporation of Karachi airport into the Road to Makkah Project and the introduction of a shorter Hajj package lasting 20 to 25 days.

Hajj has become very expensive from last few years. I think the new government must do something about the packages for 2024 Hajj as many middle class people want to perform hajj. Hopefully something positive will happen after the govt is formed.
