During the initial five months of the fiscal year 2023-24, Pakistan achieved a notable milestone by generating $1,151.956 million through diverse information technology (IT) services provided to various nations.
This marks a substantial 5.89% growth compared to the $1,087.929 million earned in the same period of the previous fiscal year. The Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) revealed that computer services exports experienced an 8.17% increase, escalating from $864.429 million to $935.016 million from July to November 2023.
Notably, software consultancy services exhibited an impressive 46.67% surge, reaching $2.508 million, while hardware consultancy services rose by 4.15%, reaching $331.231 million.
